The Sacramento Bee:  "Shoes Would Be a Step in the Right Direction for Refugee Children"

Vickee Moy and Shahpoor Benawa collected blankets that were distributed to refugee children in Sacramento and West Sacramento.  Over the past year they have provided nearly 90 children with backpacks filled with supplies, uniforms, and books and are aiming to provide 1,000 children with blankets this fall.
